(18+, 10+ with adult) The Peaks of Otter are three mountains that sit close to each other and have some of the best views in the area. Join us on this three-hike series to complete all three mountains. This 5-mile loop with about 1,00 feet of elevation gain will take us past Balance Rock to the summit of Harkening Hill, and past a traditional Appalachian homestead- the perfect blend of nature and culture. The program fee includes transportation and leadership. Register before Jan 12th to reserve your spot!

A parent or guardian must be present on this trip for participants under age 18. We will meet at the Public Works located at 1802 Courtland Rd NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.

Bring plenty of water (2 liters), snacks, lunch, proper clothing and footwear (good shoes or hiking boots), a backpack to carry all of your items, and trekking poles if you use them. Just a reminder that dogs are not allowed on any City of Roanoke hike.
