(18+,10+ with adult) Have you ever seen someone elegantly casting a fly rod or watched the movie ‘A River Runs Through It’ and thought “I wish I could do that”? Well now is your opportunity. This full day entry level fly fishing program is designed to take you from being a beginner to getting on the water. Topics will include gear to get you started, knots, choosing flies, basic entomology, fly tying, casting, and will include with some time fishing for warm water species on Ferrum College’s campus. Transportation to/from Roanoke, instruction, rental rods and take home textbooks are included. No experience is necessary.
