Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon

America’s Toughest Road Races happen in Roanoke, VA on Earth Day this year: Saturday, April 22nd.
The world-class challenge returns, with a course that covers more elevation change than any other road race in the country. The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon is a celebration of the human spirit, its toughness is only matched only by the scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the hospitality experienced along the way.

The action begins at 7:35am sharp with the help of a starting cannon. Runners will climb Mill Mountain, Roanoke Mountain, traverse the Roanoke River Greenway, and wind their way through South Roanoke to the infamous climb up Peakwood, before coming back into downtown to the finish at Elmwood Park.
