Get outside and learn a new game along the Thistle Ridge Disc Golf Trail. Rangers and volunteers will be on hand to teach you and your family how to play disc golf by sharing tips and tricks before you hit the course.

You can play either nine holes (a 1-mile course) or all 18 (a 2-mile course), weaving through meadows and forests with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. Scorecards are provided and have facts about the nature you may encounter along the trail.

Loaner discs will be available to sign out and must be returned at the end of the day. Parking fees for the Blue Ridge Trailhead will be waived for the event. For more information, please call (540) 254-0795.
