(18+, 8+ with adult) Have you ever wondered what type of plants are around you? Which ones originate from Virginia, or which ones were brought in? Does Virginia have any native fruits? Join us for the native plant and tree ID hike to answer all of your plant questions and discover the species that have inhabited Virginia for thousands of years. We will be taking a leisurely 2 mile hike through Roanoke’s urban forests to find out what native treasures lie just out of sight – and how they benefit us all!
