Explore Morningside Park to collect unique elements from nature to create your very own nature mandala!  Join us for a relaxing evening with Roanoke Parks and Recreation  as they lead us in the history and creation of a nature mandala.

Please park on the Morningside Urban Farm side of the street. This event is free and open to everyone. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

COVID-19 UPDATE: 

In light of the pandemic, we ask that attendees of Community Health & Outreach events please adhere to the following guidelines:

1) Participants will go through a brief health screening upon arrival.

2) Social distancing (6 feet apart) will be practiced at all times. 

3) Face masks must be brought and worn by participants and staff at all times during the event, except while exercising or eating more than 6 feet apart.

All outdoor events are weather dependent. Event will be canceled due to rain and/or for a heat index rating of Danger or Extreme Danger. A Caution and/or Extreme Caution heat index is a warning to individuals with health related conditions.
