**** Climbing locations within 1 and 1/2 hour of Roanoke VA

Day 1 will begin with the first half classroom learning safety, gear etc. The second half will be bouldering & learning climbing positions.
Day 2 will be all on the rock learning toproping, belay and climbing moves. Site will be chosen Saturday afternoon depending on the ability of the students.

Intro to rock climbing, learn the backbone knowledge to get you on the rocks safely while having fun at the same time.

Beginner to Intermediate Climbing Techniques
Basic Rappelling can be Included

Classes held outside.

Gear Provided:
Helmet
Harness

Gear Suggested:
Stiff toed athletic shoes if climbing shoes not available.
