Join Roanoke Parks and Recreation, East Coasters Bike Shop and GO Cross for Roanoke’s SummerCross Cyclocross Race Series!

The event is for novice and experienced riders alike.

Racers will ride the one-mile mixed surface CX course at Fallon Park. Competitors must be eight years old or older. Spectators are encouraged to bring a cowbell and to cheer on riders. Roanoke’s SummerCross Race Series is sponsored by Roanoke Parks and Recreation, East Coasters Bike Shop, and GO Cross.

RACES & CATEGORIES:

• RACE 1- 6:15 pm, 35 minutes
  • Categories:
    • Expert Men/Women
    • Sport Men/Women
    • Single Speed Men/Women
  • Appropriate for Cat. 1,2,3, and 4 CX racers
• RACE 2- 7:10 pm, 20 minutes
  • Categories:
    • Recreational Men/Women
    • Juniors 12-14 Men/Women
    • Juniors 11 & Under Men/Women
  • Appropriate for Cat. 4 and 5 CX racers

Awards will be announced at 7:45 pm, beer will be available.
