Troutville Trail Days

June 1 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

Location: Troutville Town Park

The Town of Troutville obtained their AT Trail Town designation in 2012, and from there the first festival was born. Thanks to donations from our generous local businesses and volunteers from the community, Troutville Trail Days is a Free yearly festival. Troutville Trail Days celebrates the local community, all of the outdoor recreation Botetourt County and our region has to offer, and the Appalachian Trail and the yearly thru-hikers who make the nearly 2,200 mile trek from Georgia to Maine.

Troutville Trail Days has something for the entire family. There are local vendors, artisans, national vendors,  guided hikes on the Appalachian Trail, tubing trip on the river, thru-hiker support, food, music, kid’s area, large playground, raffles, fun and so much more.

There is Free camping all weekend for not only the hikers, but the community as well. Come on Friday and stay until Sunday!

The thru-hiker dinner/community social is held on Friday May 31, 2024 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Troutville Town Hall.  The community is invited to come join in and meet some of the men and women thru hiking the Appalachian Trail.  This dinner is provided by the generous donations of local churches and the community is encouraged to join us.

*Dogs are not permitted inside the park; however, there will be housing for dogs directly next to the park for thru hikers only!
