Here are a few tips for skate park etiquette:
The Blacksburg Skate Park includes a concrete bowl, banks, quarters, ledges, rails, stairs, and more. The park is unsupervised and participants must wear pads and helmets at all times.
Christiansburg Skate Park is located off Franklin Street, in front of the aquatic center. This popular street style skate park offers challenges that include a half-pipe, a vert, grinding rails, and a stair-step.
The Covington Skate Board Park is located adjacent to Casey Field parking lot off of Oak Street. The park borders the Jackson River and opened in 1999.
The Moyer Skate Park in Salem is a paved park for skate boarders and in-line skaters featuring jumps and ramps. Those using the park must wear proper safety equipment.
Located in Wasena Park, beneath the bridge and next to the Roanoke River Greenway, you’ll find ramps, rails, and grindboxes.
The Rocky Mount Rotary Skate Park is a safe and convenient recreation area for skateboarders and rollerbladers. May it be the youth or the young at heart, this park is designed for anyone with a desire to roll.
The park includes a 17,000 square foot in-ground concrete park, with two bowls, a vertical wall, hubbas, stairs, rails, bent penny, and much more.
