Kids Fishing Day

April 2, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location: Natural Bridge State Park

Calling all kids 12 and younger to come fish for rainbow trout at Natural Bridge State Park. Is this your first time fishing and not sure how to do it? That’s not an issue since will have rangers and volunteers along the creek to teach you how to throw a line in and catch a fish! The park will also offer games, fishing crafts, and food. Two lucky children will win a prize if they’re able to catch the Golden Trout in the creek. Fishing will be on the picturesque Cedar Creek Trail that meanders under the famous Natural Bridge.

Event Requirements: Children must bring their own pole, bait, and gear. Very limited supplies will be available at the park. Children can catch and keep up to six fish per child. No adults are allowed to fish, but there must be at least one paying adult with participating children.

Special Admission Rates: Children 12 years and younger receive free admission from 9 a.m. to noon. After 12 p.m., children’s tickets resume their normal rate at $6/child. Adults (13 and older) pay regular admission price all day at $9/adult.
